Guide and Virtual Tour of Blackpool: Seafront Trams.
Panorama | Review | Map
These lovely old restored trams run up and down the sea front all day, every day, from 05:30 in the morning to 23:30 at night. Although most visitors use them to travel between the piers, the tramway network is actually 12 miles long and goes all the way to Cleveleys and Fleetwood. Here, modern speedy trams are used by locals and commuters.
During the Blackpool Illuminations in late summer and early Autumn, the trams offer a circular trip up and down the sea front, so that the whole of the famous lights can be seen from the window of a tram.
